After transitioning out of other projects, three men in Santa Cruz, California, met to discuss their musical futures. With the discovery of their mutual love of bass fuzz, rocking hard and pushing boundaries, a band was born. After teasing (drummer) Clinton about looking like Richard Gere, that band had a name.
An Officer and Two Gentlemen play a unique brand of music they like to call Action-Rock. These instrumental compositions are meant to soundtrack action movies, encompassing genres as diverse (and similar) as hardcore punk, metal, post-rock and noise. Think Death from Above 1979 doing Richard Gere, and you've come close.
Now, with the release of their first collection of music, they are poised to take California's central coast by the throat. After that, who knows what will happen?
